Do I need to book online?
Yes, all tours will need to be booked online, our tours are popular and can sell out quickly!
What do I need to do when I arrive to the tour?
After booking online, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details for the tour’s Starting Point. Look for our guides holding purple umbrellas upon arrival and present your confirmation to check in.
How do I leave a review?
We’d love to hear your feedback! A link to leave a review on Google or Tripadvisor will be sent to you 24 hours after your tour. If you think we need to improve please contact feedback@www.unearthedtours.com, any feedback helps us improve our tours!
Are the tours accessible?

Do the tours run in bad weather?
Our tours run in all weather conditions, rain or shine. However, if Met Éireann issues a Red Weather Warning, we’ll cancel the tour for safety and provide 24-hour notice. In such cases, guests who have prepaid can reschedule for free or request a refund. Please make sure you check the weather for the day and prepare with the right clothes, shoes & umbrella if needed.
I need to cancel, can I get a refund?
If you cancel more than 24 hours before the start time, a full refund will be issued. For cancellations within 24 hours, refunds aren’t available, but you may reschedule your booking for another day or transfer your ticket to someone else.
Is there a lot of walking involved?
Our tours cover distances between 2km and 3.5km. Some routes include gentle hills, requiring a light level of fitness, though nothing strenuous. While some streets have cobblestones, there are also flat pavements available throughout the tour. Please wear good walking shoes!
Can you accommodate large groups on the Free Tour of Dublin?
For the Free Tour of Dublin, we accept group bookings of up to 7 people. If you are a group of 8 or more we’re happy to provide a Private Tour for you and your group. Our guides reserve the right to decline groups at the tour’s start point and Unearthed Tours may cancel bookings if a group booking is suspected.
Do you run tours daily?
Our Free Tour of Dublin operates daily at 11am and 2pm. Some of our paid tours also run daily, and you can check availability for all tours directly on our website.
Private Tours
I have a Private Tour booked with you, what is the cancellation policy?
What is the number of people allowed on Private Tours?
There’s no limit! With a large network of experienced guides, we can accommodate tours for groups ranging from 1 to 1,000 people. For groups larger than 30, please reach out to us at groups@www.unearthedtours.com
Are discounts available for large groups?
Absolutely! We offer greater discounts for larger groups, and discounted rates are available for repeat bookings. Book a private tour online, and you’ll automatically receive a 5% discount on your booking.
Do private tours include access to attractions and entry fees?
If you’d like to book a bespoke private tour that includes paid attractions, we can arrange this as we design your itinerary. Just let us know which attractions you’d like to visit, and we’ll do our best to make it happen!
